HOLISTIC SUPPORT FOR EXPECTING MOTHERS
Legacy Wellness Birth Services provides holistic, personalized doula support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
Our Birth Services Director, Julia, helps families connect with carefully selected independent doulas who share our commitment to holistic, family-centered care.
Through our personalized matching process, we help you find a doula who understands your preferences, respects your values, and provides the support you need for your birth experience.
WHY CHOOSE LEGACY WELLNESS
At Legacy Wellness, we believe every mother deserves to feel informed, respected, and supported throughout her birth journey. Our Christ-centered, holistic approach emphasizes personalized care, informed decision-making, and support for the entire family.

Rather than assigning you a doula without getting to know you, our Birth Services Director, Julia, takes time to understand your needs and connect you with a doula who may be the right fit.
You'll have an opportunity to speak directly with your recommended doula before committing. If you don't feel comfortable after that conversation, Julia can help you explore another match, based on availability.
Our goal is to help you build a trusting relationship with a doula who will support your birth preferences and work collaboratively with your chosen birth team.
Finding the Right Doula for You
Step 1: Complimentary Discovery Call with Julia
Your journey begins with a free 15-minute call with Julia. She'll learn about your birth preferences, goals, personality, and the type of support you're looking for. She'll also explain our birth packages and answer your questions.

Step 2: Meet Your Potential Doula
Based on your conversation, Julia will recommend a doula from our carefully selected network of independent birth professionals. You'll then have an introductory call with your potential doula to get acquainted, ask questions, and determine whether you feel comfortable moving forward together.
Step 3: Make Sure It's the Right Fit
We understand how important it is to feel connected to your doula. If, after your introductory call, you don't feel she's the right fit, simply let Julia know. We'll be happy to explore another match, subject to availability.
Step 4: Begin Your Birth Journey
Once you've found the right doula, you'll move forward with your selected birth package and begin preparing together for your baby's arrival.
Our priority is simple: Helping you find a doula you trust, feel comfortable with, and are confident having by your side during one of life's most meaningful experiences.
A doula is a trained childbirth professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Doulas may also be called labor companions, labor support specialists, birth assistants, or labor assistants.
During delivery, doulas stay close to the mother, offering continuous support. They utilize various pain-relief techniques such as breathing exercises, relaxation methods, massage, and different labor positions to provide comfort. Additionally, doulas encourage partner involvement and offer reassurance throughout the process.

A doula advocates for the mother, helping her achieve her specific birth preferences. Their aim is to ensure the mother has a positive and safe birth experience, whether it is medicated, unmedicated or a cesarean.

Unlike medical professionals who focus on clinical tasks, doulas are dedicated to offering personalized, non-medical support, ensuring that mothers feel confident and cared for throughout the birthing process.
What' is a Doula?
DISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE A DOULA CAN MAKE

Emotional Support: Providing constant reassurance, encouragement, and comfort.
-
Physical Support: Assisting with relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and labor positions.
-

-
Advocacy: Helping to communicate the mother's wishes to the medical team and ensuring her voice is heard.
-

The role of a doula is to help women have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience.

Auriculotherapy Support
As part of our holistic birth services, we also offer auriculotherapy as a gentle, complementary support during pregnancy and birth preparation. Auriculotherapy works with specific points on the ear to support nervous system regulation, relaxation, and labor comfort. It may help support calm and coping during labor, and research suggests it may reduce perceived labor pain and may support labor comfort; evidence is promising but mixed and still developing. Auriculotherapy is offered as an optional add-on and is intended to support—not replace—your medical or midwifery care.

Disclaimer: Auriculotherapy and all pregnancy support services offered by Legacy Wellness are complementary wellness services and are not a substitute for medical care or prenatal management. Individuals who are pregnant, attempting to conceive, or postpartum should consult with their healthcare provider before beginning auriculotherapy or any complementary wellness service. Participation is voluntary, and individual experiences and outcomes may vary.
