MEET LISA: Welcome to my clinic! I’m Lisa Metzger — wife to my college sweetheart of over 27 years, mama to 14 children — with grandchildren now in the mix!

Our life is full and loud in the best ways — homeschool days, a hobby farm with chickens and goats, time on the river. That life experience isn’t separate from my work — it shapes how I care for people. I understand what it means to carry a lot, give a lot, and still want to feel well in your own body.
I’m also a devoted Christ-Follower, and my faith is woven into how I view the body: designed with intention, capable of healing, and worthy of thoughtful, respectful care.
My journey in healthcare began as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), inspired by my mother, a Registered Nurse (RN, BSN). Throughout my homeschooling years, my mother instilled in me a profound appreciation for the complexity of the human body - created by a Master Designer.
Initially, I envisioned a future in Western medicine, but life took a different turn. After pursuing a degree in graphic design and public relations, I faced significant health challenges, including numerous recurrent miscarriages and multiple autoimmune diagnoses. This wake-up call prompted me to seek alternatives to conventional medicine and led me to explore the vibrant world of natural and alternative health and wellness through naturopathy and homeopathy.
With the encouragement of my husband, I returned to school to become a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor - certified through the American Natural Wellness Practitioners Board (ANWPB), RBTI Practitioner and Certified Alternative Health Practitioner (CAHP), later on earning designations as a Functional Blood Chemistry Analyst, HeartMath Certified Professional and Certified Auriculotherapist. Throughout this journey, I have had the privilege of helping friends, family and now clients in my clinic heal using God-given tools and holistic approaches.
